Greek metalized braid 4mm type lurex - copper, 1m

Original 4 mm soutache braid of Greek production. This soutache is different from the Czech and Chinese braids size - Greek ones are slightly wider (see photo) and thicker.

"Lurex" type braid is made of a synthetic metallised film (except the core) and it is strongly shiny. The fiber covers the core evenly, it doesn't extend when folding. The bride is plastic, less rigid than the 'gold thread' soutache.

NOTE! It is advisable to protect the ends of the braid from unraveling, eg with a colorless tape, glue or a colorless (clear) nail polish. The cutting place can be burnt also.
