Original 4 mm soutache braid of Greek production. This soutache is different from the Czech and Chinese braids size - Greek ones are slightly wider (see photo) and thicker.
This kind of braid is made of acrylic (relax) fibers. The fiber covers the core evenly, it doesn't extend when folding. The core is in a color similar to the braid. This soutache braid has the right and left sides. The acrylic fiber is characterized by the presence of very small fibers, which, depending on the color, are more or less visible (see photo). After finishing work, fibers could be carefully burned. The bride is plastic, easy to forming. Due to the size of the string, we recommend it rather for bigger forms. It also seems that this type of soutache braid will work well in ethno, rustic, etc. designs.
NOTE! It is advisable to protect the ends of the braid from unraveling, eg with a colorless tape, glue or a colorless (clear) nail polish. The cutting place can be burnt also.
