Greek silk braid 4mm - tangerine, 1m

Original 4 mm Greek soutache braid. Soutache braid is produced in Greece. This soutache is different from the Czech and Chinese braids size - Greek ones are slightly wider (see photo) and thicker.

Greek silk soutache (rayon) is made of natural plant fibers (including sisal). The fibers from which the silk soutache is produced are referred to as vegetable silk. The fibers are dyed with natural pigments. The color is durable, if necessary braids can be washed. Soutache braid has a beautiful silky shine. Silk braid, due to the method of production, can be considered as a natural and ecological product.

The fiber covers the core evenly, it doesn't extend when folding. The core is in a color similar to the braid, it is made of viscose. Greek soutache braid has the right and left sides. Greek soutache, all kinds of braids, are plastic, easy to forming. Due to the size of the braid, we recommend it rather for bigger forms. However, small earrings sewn from the Greek soutache are also possible to made.

NOTE! It is advisable to protect the ends of the braid from unraveling, eg with a colorless tape, glue or a colorless (clear) nail polish. The cutting place can be burnt also.
