Greek polyester braid 3mm - baby blue, 1m

Original and impressive Greek polyester soutache 3mm. Braid is produced in Greece. This product is distinguished by an attractive range of colors (59) maintained in a vibrant, intense tone.

Greek polyester soutache is made of thin polyester threads. Individual threads are gathered into larger bundles, from which the braid is woven. Thanks to this, the drawing of the herringbone on a string is clearly visible. The polyester soutache has a right and a left side. The core of the braid is in a color matched to the cover. In addition to beautiful colors, the string is distinguished by a delicate and elegant satin gloss. The color is permanent and, if necessary, the soutache can be washed in a mild washing solution. The braids are quite rigid and chubby (thicker than PEGA braids) but they are sewn well, the needle sticks easily and passes easily through the braid. Braids are plastic, easy to form.

Polyester soutache is great for sewing cabochons and creating openwork forms due to its thickness and stiffness. It is nice to sew both large forms (necklaces, pendants) and small earrings. The ends of the soutache braid on the back of the product could be protected against unraveling by melting.

Beautiful colors and the structure of the braid are the biggest advantages of Greek polyester soutache.

NOTE! It is advisable to protect the ends of the braid from unraveling, eg with a colorless tape. The ends of the braid can also be secured by burning (melting) over a fire, e.g. with a lighter.
